Letting Go

I’m watching the clouds
Float above my house
Things can never be that simple
I dream of you and I
Thinking we could fly
Our castle in the sky has crumbled

Letting go can be the hardest
When you are filled with sorrow
You don’t know how heavy the heart is
Until your heart is hollow

The dreams that we fulfilled
And all the worlds we built
Are all I have to fill my memory
I would have never guessed
This weight that’s on my chest
