It was Worth it in the End

from The Reign of the Heart

Vian Izak · 2026 · Folk

Acoustic folk with chill, uplifting warmth and a midtempo, low-energy, introspective sway; largely instrumental with a sparse vocal mantra, organic textures, and a smooth groove for fans of Coldplay and Radiohead.

About This Song

Written on a nylon string guitar in-between tracking sessions for the album, It Was Worth it in the End was originally not planned as being part of the album. Vian and co producer Micah Von took a break one afternoon and Micah showed Vian the guitar riff. Vian loved it and they wrote a quick transition song with the same line repeated over and over.

Musical Style

Predominantly acoustic, organic folk with a midtempo flow, low-energy dynamics, and a smooth, lightly swaying groove; introspective yet ultimately uplifting; minimal arrangement with long instrumental passages and sparse vocals.

Themes and Meaning

Resilience and hope after hardship, accepting the journey and finding quiet affirmation that it was worth it in the end.

Instrumentation and Production

Acoustic guitar carries harmony and gentle rhythm; soft, restrained vocal enters as a brief, mantra-like refrain; minimal arrangement, wide negative space, and an organic, unembellished production aesthetic that keeps the performance intimate and calm.

Who This Song Is For

For listeners who want chill, uplifting acoustic folk with a reflective tone; a natural pick for fans of the softer sides of Coldplay and Radiohead; ideal for quiet evenings, study sessions, or contemplative drives.
